Le titre de l\u2019album est de toute mani\u00e8re une indication sans fioritures. <strong>Chris REA<\/strong>, avant la sortie de cet album, plus connu pour une pop bien l\u00e9ch\u00e9e, pour sa \u00ab&nbsp;belle gueule&nbsp;\u00bb qui plaisait aux \u00ab&nbsp;m\u00e9nag\u00e8res de 50 ans&nbsp;\u00bb et aux TOP FM, m\u00eame si l\u2019album pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent avait amorc\u00e9 un virage qualitatif ! Et puis est arriv\u00e9 ce <strong>The Road to Hell<\/strong>, album \u00e9norme \u00e0 tout point de vue. Le son, les m\u00e9lodies, la noirceur, la voix rocailleuse de Chris REA, les guitares imparables. Et les titres de cet album qui s\u2019enchainent, sans aucun moment de faiblesse. \u00c7a commence tr\u00e8s fort, une intro inqui\u00e9tante, et ce <strong>Road to hell<\/strong>, qui \u00e9voque la m\u00e8re disparue et les souvenirs d\u2019un enfant, de Chris REA lui m\u00eame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube alignwide wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0SZbJpbVRzo\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Je pourrais citer chaque chanson, <strong>Looking for a rainbow<\/strong>, qui cl\u00f4ture la face A de l\u2019album, sur l\u2019esprit des pionniers, <strong>Your warm and tender love<\/strong> sur l\u2019amour d\u2019une m\u00e8re. Et la conclusion avec <strong>Tell me there\u2019s a heaven<\/strong>, chanson en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 sa petite fille qui lui demande ce qu\u2019est la mort et la souffrance.
