Un musicien, guitariste exceptionnel, dont l\u2019influence \u00e0 d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la reconnaissance du grand public. Jimmy Page c\u2019est parait-il esquint\u00e9 les doigts \u00e0 tenter de reproduire le jeu de guitare de Bert Jansch (et il n\u2019h\u00e9sitera pas \u00e0 faire des emprunts sur certains titres de Led Zeppelin), Neil Young lui rend hommage sur plusieurs albums (la chanson The Needles and the Damage Done sur l\u2019album Harvest est clairement inspir\u00e9e d\u2019un titre de Jansch). Donovan doit aussi beaucoup \u00e0 l\u2019influence de Jansch, et m\u00eame Dylan a reconnu l\u2019aura de ce musicien.
