Enfin, pas vraiment. Un seul album officiel au compteur, et cet album, ce groupe a influenc\u00e9 un paquet d\u2019autres groupes, d\u2019autres musiciens. Et pourtant totalement m\u00e9connu en France. Il faut dire que lorsque l\u2019unique album des Modern Lovers est sorti chez nous, le groupe s\u2019\u00e9tait s\u00e9par\u00e9 avant m\u00eame la parution de son album. D\u2019ailleurs, un des membres du combo, John Felice, ami d\u2019enfance de Jonathan Richman a fond\u00e9 un autre groupe, The Real Kids. Alors pourquoi discographie compliqu\u00e9e ? Ce live par exemple. Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 plus logique qu\u2019il s\u2019appelle Jonathan Richman &amp; The Modern Lovers. D\u2019autant que Richman a continu\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re solo en publiant parfois sous son nom, parfois en ajoutant &amp; The Modern Lovers \u00e0 son nom. Et c\u2019est sas doute le cas de cet album, enregistr\u00e9 en 1977, avec des musiciens totalement diff\u00e9rents du combo original. Musicalement, entre l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 rock n roll, influence du Velvet, et la voix de Jonathan Richman, expressive et \u00ab\u00a0sentimentale\u00a0\u00bb.
